Rare first edition of the Danish translation by Ellen Kirk of the famous novel by Charles-Louis Philippe. It is illustrated with 22 lithographs by Cecil VALEUR, including 7 in color (one on the cover and 6 off-text) and 15 in black (one title vignette, 6 caps, and 8 off-text).
