Beautiful edition belonging to the collection of works printed by order of the king for the education of my lord the Dauphin. They were printed by Firmin Didot at 250 copies on wove paper "from the factory of MM. Dervaud et frères Henry, d'Angoulême", in the formats

, in-8 and in-18.
Spine slightly faded, some stains on the boards. Head cover and corners very skilfully restored. Scattered foxing.
