MAISON TETARD is a French silversmith's house in Paris, renowned in the 19th and 20th centuries, dedicated to the production of solid silver and vermeil, as well as silver-plated metal products. The company was founded in 1860 by Edmond Tétard, and its goldsmith's hallmark, with the symbol of the "Huguenot" pot, quickly became a synonym for quality and refinement.
After his three sons took over the business at the beginning of the 20th century, the company continued under the name TETARD FRERES. TETARD works can be found in the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and many others. Tétard frères' clients include the King of Morocco, the Aga Khan, Aristotle Onassis (for his yacht Le Christina) and a wide range of clients from South America to Russia.
