The icon represents in the center the Resurrection and the Descent into Limbo framed by the twelve feasts including: the Birth of the Virgin, the Presentation of Mary, the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Baptism, the Transfiguration, the Exaltation of the Cross, the Dormition, the Trinity, the Ascension, the Entry into Jerusalem, and the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple.
