ORIGINAL EDITION of this rare history of Russian cinema, richly illustrated with photographic reproductions, as well as photomontages by Rodchenko and Stepanova. Well completed with the portrait, on tracing paper, of Stalin in profile drawn in silver and the folding plate which gives a panoramic view of the interior of a cinema, with Lenin's head in a window. Pages 147-148, a priori censored, are missing from all known copies.
