Gilded frame. A.B.E. Biography : Maximilien Sébastien FOY (1775-1825). He distinguished himself in the army of Spain (1808) and defended the passages of the Pyrenees (1813). Liberal deputy of Aisne (1819), then of Paris (1824), ardent defender of the freedom of the press, opponent of the ultras, his funeral was the occasion of an opposition demonstration to the regime.
