Second edition, following the first one by one year, of Bonaparte's campaign in Egypt from a strictly military point of view by Louis-Alexandre Berthier, prince of Neuchâtel and Valangin, prince of Wagram (1753-1815), then Napoleon's general before the latter made him marshal of the Empire. Provenance: the general of the Revolution and the Empire Jean-Baptiste Meynier (1749-1813), who left his typographical ex-libris on the reverse of the cover as well as two handwritten ex-libris on the title and faux-title pages. Binding a little rubbed with small leather tears on the spine, visible angular wetness on a quarter of the leaves, some foxing. (Davois, I, 82). Attached : [DUFOUR DE SAINT-PATHUS (Julien-Michel)]. Changes made to 109 articles of the Napoleonic code and to the dates of adoption and promulgation of the titles of this code, adopted by the Legislative Body on September 3, 1807. Paris, L.
