Günter Beltzig, 'Floris' table, 1967/68, H. 61.5 cm, Ø 77.5 cm. Made by BBD, Brothers Beltzig Design, Wuppertal. White fiberglass reinforced polyester., Exh. cat. Experiment 70, Ingolstadt 2002, p. 26. With the Floris chair, Günter Beltzig walked a fine line between everyday object and sculpture. The iconic chair is reminiscent of both a human figure and a pistil while at the same time enabling ergonomic sitting. The 'Floris' table offered here was only produced in a very limited edition.
