Marcel Breuer , Lounge chair, c. 1977, H. 95 x 163.5 x 62 cm. Made by Tecta, Lauenförde, c. 1977. Chrome-plated tubular steel, rubber straps, upholstery with dark-gray textile., Cf. Droste/Ludewig, Marcel Breuer Design, Cologne 1992, p. 119. The design is based on a chair made by Breuer for Embru Werke, Rüti. Tecta changed it as agreed upon with Marcel Breuer from a static sofa to a flexible one (by moving the armrests). This chair had been shown at trade shows in 1978/79 but never produced again.
