Empire period clock representing the goddess of astronomy Urania seated on a marble and red morello cherry bollard. The bronze subject with a dark and gilded patina holds the movement between his knees with both hands. She wears a tiara and the edge of the dial is richly worked with the motifs of the signs of the zodiac. White enamel dial signed Gaston Jolly in Paris, received Master Watchmaker in 1784 and still active during the first quarter of the 19th century. Empire period. Belgian private collection.
