Besides Bogatzky's "Tägliches Haus-Buch" and the collection of spiritual songs "Die Übung der Glückseligkeit" his most important and successful work. - Carl Heinrich v. Bogatzky (1690-1774) was one of the most prolific edification writers from the school of A. H. Francke, he also wrote numerous hymns still known today. - Front endpaper with contemporary notes. Notes, only occasionally lightly spotted, good copy in decorative baroque binding.
