USTC 1508122 - Important commentary on the Revelation to John by the Spanish Jesuit Luis de Alcazar (1554 - 1613), first published posthumously in 1614. The work is considered the first attempt to apply a preterist interpretation in the course of interpretation: According to Alcazar, numerous events had already occurred. Here the fourth printing from 1619, richly illustrated with engravings after Don Juan Jaureguy (1583 - 1641). --- Center field of back cover heavily bumped. Cover and book block occasionally with small worm traces (occasional slight loss of letters), otherwise very good condition with tight binding and clean text. --- Important commentary on the Revelation of John written by the Spanish Jesuit Luis de Alcazar (1554 - 1613), published posthumously for the first time in 1614.
