Rare YEMA watch, Spationaut III, "long duration flight ARAGATZ, CCCP.FRANCE" worn during the second flight in 1988 on the space station Mir. The velcro strap allows to fix the watch on a suit sleeve during an extra-vehicular activity. (A certificate certifying that this watch is the property of the cosmonaut Jean-Loup Chrétien will be given to the purchaser) On November 26, 1988, Jean Loup Chrétien is again a tenant of the Mir orbital station with a Yema Spationaut III. The case of the watch is made of very light titanium, resistant to temperature variations of about 100°. The glass is made of hésalite, unbreakable avoiding the cosmonaut the dangers which could be caused by the splinters. Kevlar strap covered with a silk composite with velcro. Chronograph function 5/100th of seconds. Chronograph function allowing the reading of an intermediate time without interruption of the timing, catching up of the elapsed time during this reading, measurement by accumulation of the elapsed time, continuous measurement of the time of two competitors. Case back engraved: "Long flight ARAGATZ, CCCP France". This is a quartz chronometer powered by a Seiko 4-motor quartz movement (7A38) with 3 counters (3, 6 and 9 hours): At 6 o'clock the second hand, central chrono hand at 3 o'clock the "20th" of seconds at 9 o'clock the minute counter over 30 minutes double date window at 3 o'clock the case is still stainless steel but increases to 43 MM the bezel is unidirectional rotating and finds indexes the crown is screwed and is located at 8 o'clock. 3 pushers located at 2, 4, 10 o'clock. Curved mineral glass dial with logo, screwed back with commemorative engraving "Long flight Aragatz CCP-France. Case thickness: 13mm; (Each object having belonged to M Jean-Loup Chrétien will be accompanied by a certificate signed by his hand).
