Rare pewter pitcher with longitudinal casting. The inside tinned. It rests on a flared base with flat bottom. The domed lid opens with a catch in the form of acorns. Hallmark of master potter on the handle. Owner's mark under the base and medieval money soldered inside the lid. H. 19 cm. Northern Europe, Netherlands? Around 1450.
