CRUCIFIX WITH CHRIST in gilded bronze, cross and base in cut rock crystal, titulus and frame in engraved and gilded metal. Ends of the branches in the shape of palmette, octagonal base surmounted by a dome and a baluster between two nodes, feet in faceted. Germany, 17th century. Height: 36.5 cm (slight accidents and restorations) A cross of comparable workmanship is in the Victoria & Albert Museum (inv. no. A 97-1927).
