Edition announced at 400 copies on vellum paper.
The legend that part of the edition was destroyed by Henri Michaux himself is not true. (See Pascal de Sadeleer's scholarly note in Catalogue Robert Moureau I, 2003, no. 402.)
Michaux had covered part of the publishing costs. He would later oppose any reprint: "I do not recognize this horror."
