Italian guitar bearing a label of C.Barrera Venezia, c.1890. The shape of the instrument and its bridge are very inspired by the work of the Guadagnini.
The soundboard is made of spruce, the sides are made of rosewood, the back is made of five parts of rosewood and mahogany, alternated with light wood purfling.
Non-original action.
Many decorative mother-of-pearl motifs are missing. Many cracks, detachments and deformations.
