Léonard LIMOSIN (1505-1577), (attributed to). Rectangular copper plate enamelled polychrome with gold highlights representing in bust Gaspard de Coligny; (1519 in Chatillon-sur-Loing August 24, 1572 in Paris) assassinated during the massacre of the Saint Barthélemy admiral of France, lord of Châtillon... The gentleman is depicted three quarters turned to the left wearing a flat hat with a feather and dressed in a collared pourpoint with a broken collar of the shirt.
