A TANG-STYLE BRONZE 'LIONS AND GRAPEVINES' MIRROR
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of circular form, the back cast in high relief in the center with a human figure atop a crouching lion knob encircled by six lions and scrolling grapevines and bunches, all within a narrow-raised border.
Condition: Good condition with some wear and casting flaws, few minuscule nicks, and brown encrustations.
