A PAIR OF TIBETAN RITUAL CYMBALS, 1900s
Tibet, late 19th - early 20th century. The two sacred cymbals of thick brass, finely incised on the top with the eight Buddhist treasures and the reverse with two sinuous dragons, joined by a metal chain with three hardstone beads.
Provenance: Private collection, Belgium, acquired in Ladakh in August 1985.
Condition: Very good condition, some wear, and manufacturing flaws.
