A PAIR OF LOBED CANTON ENAMEL VASES, 1900s
China, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Finely decorated with five reserves depicting butterflies and auspicious flowers, such as peonies and prunus, surrounded by a turquoise background with tendrils and flowers.
Provenance: German private collection.
Condition: The vases with cracks, chips, and material loss to the enamels.
