Pair of cruets and their tray
in vermeil, head of Vieillard Paris, 1819-1838.
Including :
- a shuttle tray, decorated with knotted reeds on the marli, a frieze of water leaves, and seraphim in clouds.
- a pair of cruets, one for water, decorated with reeds and shells, the other for wine, decorated with clusters and vine shoots.
Master goldsmith: C M Granger, received master in 1810, having practiced at 16 rue Harlay du Palais and 34 quai des Orfèvres, Paris.
We join a bell in vermeil, punch head of Vieillard, 1819-1838.
Restoration period.
Length of the plate : 30 cm.
Width of the tray : 18,5 cm.
Height of the cruets : 17,5 cm.
