Paestan red-figure bell krater of the Painter of the Boston Orest. 340 - 330 B.C. On side A inside a pergola the sitting Dionysos on an altar between maenad and satyr, on side B two draped youths. Tiny splinter at the mouth is missing, otherwise intact with remains of sinter. Masterpiece of the Paestan vase-painting!
