I chose to take the opposite of the cover of the current edition, by putting our two protagonists of this road trip in motion. The intention was to play on several contrasting effects: between the speed of Amédée the notary's Triump and the natural slowness of our two middle-aged heroes (the dashing ghost of Jo the adventurer loses feathers anyway), but also by their appearances, their very distinct expressions, and by the presence of a Madagascar hoopoe and an emerald boa in the Champagne countryside... The covers of my albums often invoke common references, like some movie posters. Here, we can think of the one for Fanfaron by Dino Risi, or the more recent Green Book.
