Jean-Camille BELLAIGUE (1893-1931) Propos en l'air Portfolio of thirty humorous prints in colors pasted on purple paper Signed J.C. Bellaigue and dated 1919 in the subject Preface of RIP, editions Devambez in Paris, sending on the title page "To my dear director and friend Paul-Louis Weiller, with my deep gratitude. J.C. Bellaigue". Contained in their original portfolio Dim. of a print : 25,5 x 17,6 cm. 10 x 7 in. Size of the portfolio : 41,5 x 32,5 cm. 16 1/4 x 12 3/4 in. Fading and traces of discoloration on the pages of the preface. Tears, some corned corners and traces of discoloration on the papers on which the prints are laminated. Important stains, tears and wear on the portfolio. Paul-Louis WEILLER (1893-1993) was a French businessman who, among other things, allowed the development of the construction of aircraft engines in France. He was also one of the first directors of the airline Air France.
