WAR OF CRIME / RUSSIA - Meeting of 3 original lithographs circa 1854 - CARICATURES: 1-"RUSSIAN BULLETIN - Nicolas, COLLEUR D'AFFICHES" (Nicolas I of Russia pasting a disinformation poster), 2-"Laugh well, who will laugh last - Nicolas dragging to Siberia the Authors of the Caricatures against his Auguste Person" (Nicolas I of Russia punishing Charles Gosselin and Albert Adam for their caricatures about him) & 3-"THE LAST JUDGMENT - Barbarity / Civilization" (In a scale (the horizontal bar is a sword) held by the hand of God are balanced: in one of the plates, Russia, already promised to the flames of hell, in the other plate, the allies(France, England, Turkey). 27,5 x 35,5 cm each. Lithographs by Albert ADAM (1833-1900). Proofs on wove paper. Printed in Lyon by Gadola. Margins for all. Condition A/B (some marginal stains reaching the subject for one of them). Set . 3 pl.
