Exceptional panel: the very first panel of the series and one of the first appearances of Yakari (1973), for one of the best-selling and best-known comic book series in Europe. Inspired by Jijé and Jerry Spring, Derib draws from his youth in the Swiss mountains his passion for animals and nature, which he crystallizes in his interest for the Indian culture and the creation of the character of the young Yakari.
