Confidential edition of this extract of Poems for Peace, one of the first collections published by the young
Eluard in July 1918, "in defiance of all censorship".
It is due to the initiative of the Brazilian painter and poet, Vicente do Rego Monteiro (1899-1970), founder of the review La Presse à bras (1947-1957).
