Luxurious pair of pistols in cassette. Pair of pistols numbered 1 and 2 by Jalabert LAMOTTE. Speckled percussion back plates signed Jalabert Lamotte in gold letters. Speckled damascus barrels 1 and 2 on the case hardened breeches. All fittings in iron jaspé and guilloche screws. Chased bridges with finger rests, oval caps and chased lock plates. Walnut stock with gold thumb pieces in the shape of a shield. Complete with its accessories, mallet, chopsticks, grease pot, powder flask, cast iron spoon, tamping tool, bullet mold and screwdriver. Wooden case (split in the veneer) decorated with brass fillets and reinforced with the edges of the same material. Very good mechanical condition. Total length of the weapon: 37 cm. Case: Width: 47cm. Depth: 25cm Height: 5 cm. Work from Saint-Etienne around 1830. Jalabert LAMOTTE, harquebusier-manufacturer in Saint-Etienne 1810-1825-1835 in the weapons of luxury and trade.
