Two sculptures in glass and engraved glass paste.
One signed and dated 2002.
33,5 x 19,5 cm.
We thank Jacki and Martine PERRIN for having kindly confirmed the authenticity of these works.
Jacki and Martine PERRIN trained in ceramics and Far Eastern calligraphy, before choosing glass as the medium of choice for their work. Together they developed the "Buil-in-glass" method: sculpture on glass blocks with original shapes.
The two sculptures that we present at the auction are inspired by Chinese jade in their color and chiseling. The play of transparencies, porosities and light give them a contemporary aspect and a singular beauty.
Jacki and Martine PERRIN are represented at the MAD in Paris, the Mudac in Lausanne and in other public collections throughout Europe.
