Autograph card signed, Metz, September 25, 1938. 2 pp. in-12 oblong. Engraved header "507th tank regiment - The colonel -". He describes himself for the press service of his book La France et son armée "(...) One could say that: "One found this colonel of a Regiment of tanks of the border, all helmeted and harnessed, in the middle of his battle engines, and less surprised than anybody by the present events". His book La France et son armée was published by Plon in 1938. He develops the idea that the history of France is closely linked to that of its army.
