dating: about 1855 provenance: Belgium, Octagonal, browned, rifled, 6 mm cal barrel, with fore-end and front sight; smooth, six-shot cylinder with mark of the Liege test bench. Frame finely engraved with rocaille and floral motifs, and with a lever to quickly switch the cylinder on the left side, on the opposite side of the magazine. Cock with secure-lock. Micro-grooved wooden butt, shell-carved butt plate. Engraved trigger guard, browned trigger. length 23.5 cm.
