On March 23, 2021, the Rousset family collection was dispersed in Paris. Robert Rousset (1901 - 1982) was the ancestor of the great collectors of Far Eastern art. The latter had acquired the Company in 1935, after entering China in 1920 and signing a buyer's contract for the same Company in 1924. He was also at the origin of the commercial headquarters of the Company in Peking, before returning to Paris after the crisis of 1929, for its purchase at 14 rue de Castiglione.
