Two groups in bisque and sancai enamels, representing a cave inside which we find Guanyin sitting in royal relaxation on a lotus surrounded by bamboo, surrounded by worshippers (one missing), in front of the deity is a celestial guardian. The base is adorned with a carp emerging from foaming waves. H. 25 cm (Small missing, chips, small restorations) PROVENANCE Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted on three generations since the end of the 19th century. Possible invoice for one of the two, dated November 13, 1930 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009), recalling an invoice of June 30. Fourteenth line mentioning "32617 - Rock with character Khi". Invoice dated 1928-10-17 Cie Chinoise Tonying 26 place Saint-Georges 75009.
