The neck is decorated with a bordure of geometric patterns and another of flowers in various colors next to it, the rim as well as the outline of the patterns are painted in gold, with mark "Satsuma" under the Shimazu family creston on the bottom. The vase has typical satsuma crackles on glaze. With slight traces of use.
