Bindings a little soiled and stained, spotting, angular wetness in the last few pages of vol. 5 of The Odyssey. THIRD EDITION for the Iliad and SECOND EDITION for the Odyssey, both with remarks, preceded by reflections on Homer and on the translation of the poets by Paul Jérémie BITAUBÉ (1732-1808), also translator of the work. 2 PORTRAITS and 49 FIGURES off-text (of which 2 folding). These engravings were engraved in 1781 by Biosse.
