History
Chamil is known to have been a famous warlord of stingy origin, leading the national liberation movement of the North Caucasus who led the Caucasian tribes, especially the Chechens, against the Russian army between 1839 and 1860. Today he is considered a national hero of the peoples of the North Caucasus.
