Annotation by Robert Doisneau on the false title page : "Cendrars gave me the first copy of L'Homme Foudroyé with a dedication that I recopy in this first edition to enrage the bibliophiles of the world: "to the friend Doisneau photographer zonier, beauceron who will find the Kremlin Bicêtre and Notre-Dame de Chartres at the turn of a few pages and who is the first to whom I write a dedication in a copy of L'Homme foudroyé, with my friendly hand Blaise Cendrars, October 19, 1945".
PS: "Born in Gentilly, Cendrars had decided that I was born in Chartres once and for all, Robert Doisneau".
