CIRCULAR TABLE IN MAHOGANY Empire period Mahogany, oak frame; marble Sainte-Anne des Pyrénées H. 78,5 cm, Diam. 99 cm This circular mahogany table, tripod, is topped with a beautiful grey marble top Sainte-Anne des Pyrénées. Its top, slightly overhanging and profiled in hollow, presents a fine molding with projections on the perimeter. It rests on a wide belt supported by three console feet, terminated by claws and linked together by a strut centered on a vase Medici and enhanced by three feet in the shape of a flattened top. Acanthus leaves, palmettes and flowers, carved in the thickness of the mahogany, decorate the base with lightness.
