PAIR OF CANDELABRES WITH SEVEN LIGHTS Empire period
Bronze patinated and gilded
H. 88.5 cm, D. 41 cm
Our candelabras each have six scrolled chalice branches decorated with a palmette, regularly arranged around a central brandon.
The seven gilded bronze arms of light emerge from a column with a papiriform capital and a fluted shaft in patinated bronze. The shaft, ringed and wrapped at the base with a corolla of acanthus leaves, rests on a high pedestal through a plant button.
The podium, of triangular structure with cut angles, is decorated on each side with leaning chimeras supporting a column of incense burner.
