PAIR OF CHINA PORCELAIN VASES, mounted as a lamp Porcelain: China, Kangxi reign (1662-1722) Mounting: 19th century China porcelain with blue and white decoration; gilt bronze H. 42 cm, Diam. 13,5 cm Our long-necked bottle vases, in Kangxi porcelain, have been mounted as lamps in a later period. Their gilt bronze decoration with two handles with Greek motifs is similar to that of the vases that belonged to Henri Samuel (fig. 1).
