First edition of this rare work, decorated with a frontispiece engraved by O. Michel, representing a branch of caffier. In this treatise, the botanical description of the caffier, a method of preparation, and the therapeutic virtues of new coffee decoctions are given. The author was a doctor and professor at the University of Paris.
