Morocco, High Atlas, 19th century Pair of silver fibulas called "ram's head" because of the two horned forms crowning the triangle, linked by a chain, in silver chased with floral motifs with a metal ring decorated with red glass cabochons (one missing). H. 21 cm PB. : 262g A pair of open anklets, in cast brass, with round sections alternating with square sections, with stamped decoration of concentric circles and undulating motifs. D. 9.5 cm Provenance: Collection of Mrs. R., resident in Morocco, from 1950 to 1970.
