Head of the series of this journal "so strangely bold for its time" and "one of the most interesting collections to consult for those who want to know the movement of ideas at the end of the 18th century" (Hatin). The publication, which earned Linguet a two-year stay in the Bastille, was continued until 1792. ATTACHED: an additional copy of volume XI (London 1784). This volume, in modern binding but in fine condition, with the original covers preserved, begins with the account of the "first air navigation", pages 3 to 41). A total of 13 volumes.
