Upper spine frayed, rubbed at extremities, good condition inside; with the armorial bookplate of the "Bibliothèque de Mr. le Cte. Richard de Vesvrotte". Vesvrotte was president of the Chambre des Comptes de Bourgogne. He was present on June 12, 1784 at the arrival of the balloon "Académie de Dijon" directed by Morveau and Virly, and was among the signatories of the minutes of the aerostatic test. A small handwritten note on page 211 indicates his presence at the descent of the balloon.
