The sunflower motif that gives its name to the series of works edited by the
Maeght gallery is recurring in the American artist's work.
Many of her paintings are also titled "Sunflower". The titles of her works are linked to the emotions that artist attributes to them. For her, the bloom of the sunflowers convey the tension between
concentration and dissemination, but also the cycles of life.
