Study skull of archaic man from New Britain, Gazelle peninsula. This specimen has a very important provenance as it comes from the Wistar Institute in Pennsylvania. The original cartouche has the archive number 15491 shown on the skull itself together with another collection number, that is 11617. It also has graphite signs from craniometric study (see attached photos for comparison with a skull of a European man). Dimensions: 35 cm including base.Lot can be viewed by reservation in London.
