Kassák, Lajos. The mother. Collage and ink on wove paper (papier vélin). Signed lower left: "Kassák". 1964. sheet size: 29 x 39 cm. Mounted at the upper corners under mount and framed under glass. The beautiful collage by Lajos Kassák (1887-1967) depicts his mother. - The back of the frame with later annotation in lead (in German): "1967 - mother of K + K himself". - The work was shown at the following exhibitions: From Kandinsky to Tatlin.
