Published as an appendix in "Reisen und Abenteuer II. vol. Nach Damascus und dem Hauran". - Franz Sättler (1884-1942?) was a German orientalist, writer and occultist, also known under the pseudonym Dr. Musallam. He published, among others, five extensive travel and adventure novels in the tradition of Karl May from 1912.
