Britting, Georg. Collection of 6 handwritten postcards to the writer and critic Curt Hohoff. Circa 1941-1943.
The writer and poet Georg Josef Britting (1891-1964) tells the writer, literary critic, and essayist Curt (also Kurt) Hohoff (1913-2010) about mutual friends ("wrote to me from Russia," "Langenbeck I met on his vacation. Heut vorpostelt he on the North Sea, as a sailor"), their literary activity ("'Hopfentreter' - Beautiful thing! You are hopefully proud of it"), everyday life and the war ("Unruhe und Spannung in der Luft"; "das du unbeschädigt und mitten drin seist, Cäsaren lesend"). - Partly lightly stained and slightly bumped.
